Stomach, intestines and urinary tract
These instructions are intended for the practical use of Smrekovit products for stomach, intestinal and urinary tract problems. They cover the most common problems, such as reflux, gastritis, a sensitive or burning stomach, intestinal problems, haemorrhoids, Helicobacter pylori and recurrent urinary tract infections.
For most of these problems, we recommend Smrekovit capsules. For haemorrhoids, we also combine them with local use of Smrekovit Klasik. Below you will find specific instructions for use, the expected course and particular considerations for individual problems.
Stomach, intestines and urinary tract – at a glance
- For most stomach and digestive problems, we recommend Smrekovit capsules: 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening.
- The capsules can be taken regardless of meals; regular daily use is more important.
- For stomach problems, the first changes often appear within a few days to about one week.
- For a realistic assessment, we recommend using one full package. If there is no clear change after this, it is unlikely that an effect will only appear later.
- For haemorrhoids, we combine the capsules with local application of Smrekovit Klasik.
- For recurrent urinary tract problems, the capsules can also be combined with local use of Smrekovit over the bladder area.
- If the problems worsen, blood appears in the stool or urine, severe pain occurs, or the problems persist or recur frequently without a clear reason, we recommend a medical examination.
General instructions for the stomach, intestines and urinary tract
Smrekovit capsules are intended primarily for internal use for problems with the stomach, digestive system and intestines, as well as for certain recurrent urinary tract problems.
Users most commonly take them for gastritis, reflux, stomach ulcers, problems associated with Helicobacter pylori, various digestive and intestinal problems, and recurrent urinary tract infections.
Based on our practical experience, what matters most with these problems is the speed of response. If the capsules suit the user, the first clear change often appears within just a few days or about one week.
Therefore, when starting use, we recommend taking the capsules regularly and assessing the effect after one full package. If there is no clear change after the package has been used, based on our experience, continuing to take them usually does not make much sense.
Smrekovit capsules are not intended for joint, muscle or spine problems. For these problems, we generally recommend local use for joint problems, overuse injuries or spine-related problems.
How to use Smrekovit capsules
For stomach, digestive and intestinal problems, we recommend Smrekovit capsules.
Recommended dosage
2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening.
The capsules can be taken regardless of meals. Based on our practical experience, there is no significant difference whether you take them before, during or after a meal. Regular daily use is more important.
If you forget an individual dose, this is not important. Take the next dose as usual; there is no need to double it.
Do not reduce the dosage at the beginning
One of the more common mistakes is using too low a dosage from the very beginning. For the initial assessment, we therefore recommend following the recommended dosage and not reducing it after just the first few days.
If the problems improve considerably and you use the capsules for a longer period, you can later try gradually reducing the dosage and find the lowest dose at which the condition remains satisfactory.
If you are sensitive to spruce resin
Based on our experience, skin sensitivity to spruce resin does not necessarily mean that you will also have problems when taking the capsules. Nevertheless, if you have a known sensitivity, we recommend caution and stopping use if signs of an adverse reaction appear.
Burning and sensitive stomach, gastritis and stomach ulcers
For various stomach problems, we recommend Smrekovit capsules according to the general instructions: 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening. The most common reasons for use include a burning or sensitive stomach, gastritis, pain or irritation in the stomach and stomach ulcers.
An exact diagnosis is not always the most important factor
Based on our practical experience, with stomach problems it is often more important what kind of symptoms the user has and how quickly they respond to use than the diagnostic label itself. Therefore, the same initial approach makes sense for different forms of stomach irritation and pain.
If the capsules suit the user, a change in stomach problems often appears quickly – within a few days to about one week. Users most commonly describe less pain, a reduced burning sensation and generally better comfort in the stomach.
Gastritis
For gastritis, we recommend regular use of the capsules and monitoring mainly whether pain, burning and stomach sensitivity decrease during the first few days.
If there is no clear change after one full package, based on our experience, continuing usually does not make much sense. If the improvement is obvious, however, do not stop using the capsules immediately after the first improvement.
Stomach ulcers
Stomach ulcers are among the problems for which users, based on our experience, often report rapid and pronounced improvement in symptoms.
From some users who later underwent a follow-up gastroscopy, we also received feedback about significantly better findings or findings without abnormalities. Because follow-up gastroscopies are generally performed only after a longer period, these experiences do not allow reliable conclusions about how quickly healing itself occurs or to what extent the change is due to the use of the capsules.
For a confirmed ulcer or other more serious stomach problems, Smrekovit capsules should not replace prescribed treatment or medical follow-up.
Reflux
Reflux is one of the most common reasons why users take Smrekovit capsules. We recommend 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening according to the general instructions.
Based on our practical experience, users who respond well to the capsules often notice a change within just a few days or about one week. Even when the problems do not disappear completely, users often report a marked reduction in symptoms.
Chronic reflux
With long-term reflux, it is important to keep in mind that the capsules may help reduce the problems, but they cannot necessarily eliminate the factors that trigger them. Common factors mentioned by users include stress, diet and individual sensitivity to certain foods.
If the condition settles, with longer-term use you can gradually reduce the dosage and find the lowest dose at which the problems remain satisfactorily controlled.
Irritated throat or chronic cough
With long-term throat irritation or chronic cough, it also makes sense to consider reflux, especially if stomach problems are present at the same time. Based on our experience, some users are aware that they have reflux but do not associate it with their throat problems.
If both reflux and chronic throat irritation are present, it therefore makes sense first to assess the response to the capsules rather than treating only the throat itself with local products.

Helicobacter pylori
For problems associated with infection with Helicobacter pylori, we recommend Smrekovit capsules according to the general instructions.
Based on our practical experience, users often report a rapid reduction in stomach problems and an improvement in general well-being. In some users, later testing showed that the infection was no longer present, while in others it remained.
We therefore do not present Smrekovit capsules as a means of eliminating H. pylori, but as support for problems associated with it.
How can you check whether the infection is still present?
For checking active infection or the success of treatment, the most useful tests are the urea breath test and the H. pylori stool antigen test.
Blood antibody testing is not suitable for checking whether the infection has been successfully eliminated, as antibodies may remain present for a long time after the bacterium has been eradicated.
If H. pylori infection has been confirmed, the capsules should not replace treatment prescribed by a doctor.
Crohn’s disease and erosive enterocolitis
For Crohn’s disease and erosive enterocolitis, we recommend Smrekovit capsules according to the general instructions – 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening.
Based on our practical experience, responses with these problems can be very good. Many users report a significant improvement in their symptoms. Since these are generally long-term conditions, we recommend regular daily use and assessing the effect after one full package.
If the improvement is clear, it does not make sense to stop using the capsules immediately after the first changes. With longer-term use, you can later adjust the dosage according to your condition and find the lowest dose at which the problems remain satisfactorily controlled.
Do not stop prescribed medication on your own
Some users have told us that after improvement they no longer needed certain medications. We never recommend doing this on your own. Always consult your doctor before reducing, changing or stopping prescribed medication.
If the problems worsen, blood appears in the stool or severe pain occurs, we recommend a medical examination.
Digestive problems and bloating
Users also take Smrekovit capsules for various non-specific digestive problems, bloating, a feeling of irritation in the digestive tract and other problems where the exact cause is not always clear.
For these problems, we recommend 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening and, above all, using them for long enough to allow the effect to be assessed meaningfully.
One package as a practical trial
For non-specific digestive problems, we consider a simple approach the most practical: use one full package and compare your condition before starting and after finishing it.
If the improvement is clear, you can continue using the capsules. If there is no noticeable change after the package has been used, based on our practical experience, continuing usually does not make much sense.
If the digestive problems are long-lasting, worsening, frequently recurring without a clear cause, or are accompanied by severe pain or blood in the stool, we recommend a medical examination.
Haemorrhoids
For haemorrhoids, we recommend a combination of internal and local use: Smrekovit capsules and Smrekovit Klasik applied directly to the affected area.
How to use?
Use Smrekovit capsules according to the general instructions: 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening.
Apply Smrekovit Klasik directly to the haemorrhoid area. For internal haemorrhoids, apply a small amount slightly inside the anus as well.
Based on our practical experience, the first changes with haemorrhoids often appear within just a few days. If the response is good, continue using the products even after the first improvement.
When should you see a doctor?
If you notice more pronounced or recurrent bleeding, severe pain, or if the problems persist or worsen, we recommend a medical examination.
Recurrent urinary tract infections
For recurrent bladder and urinary tract problems, we primarily recommend Smrekovit capsules according to the general instructions – 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening.
Based on our practical experience, users often report that with regular use of the capsules, the frequency of recurrent infections decreases. For milder problems, the capsules can provide important support, while for more severe or acute infections we consider them as support alongside the primary treatment.
Local use over the bladder area
For bladder problems, based on our experience, external use of Smrekovit on the lower abdomen, over the bladder area has also proved very useful.
You can use Smrekovit 365 Prima or Smrekovit Klasik. For prolonged contact, we recommend using a Smrekovit dressing:
- Apply Smrekovit 365 Prima or Smrekovit Klasik to the Smrekovit dressing.
- Place the dressing on the lower abdomen over the bladder area.
- If possible, leave it in place for a longer period or overnight.
- Apply additional product to the dressing as needed.
In some users, based on our observations, the response to local use is even more pronounced than the response to the capsules, so for recurrent problems it makes sense to try a combination of both methods.
When should you see a doctor?
For more severe or acute urinary tract infections, we recommend a medical examination. Also consult a doctor if the problems worsen, recur frequently without a clear reason, severe pain occurs or you notice blood in the urine.
Candida
We are cautious with recommendations for Candida. Based on our practical experience, a very broad range of problems is often attributed to it, even though Candida is not necessarily their cause.
For vaginal candidiasis and fungal infections of the genital area, Smrekovit is not our first choice. Based on our experience, conventional antifungal creams are often more effective and reliable for these problems.
This is somewhat different from certain other fungal infections of the skin, particularly fungal infections between the toes, on the skin and nails, where we have significantly better practical experience with Smrekovit 365 Prima.
What about digestive problems that the user attributes to Candida?
If the main problems are bloating, irritation of the digestive tract or other digestive problems, we consider it more sensible to focus on the user’s actual symptoms rather than automatically assuming that Candida is their cause.
