How did Smrekovit Klasik spruce resin ointment come about?
The beginnings of Smrekovit date back to 1989, when Ivo Konc began looking for a more practical form of a spruce resin preparation. Traditional resin compresses were impractical for everyday use, so he combined the resin with a fatty base and made his first ointment.
At first, he prepared the ointment for himself and shared it with neighbours and acquaintances. The story spread without conventional advertising, mainly through personal recommendations from users. From that first idea, Smrekovit Klasik was developed, and to this day it is based on a rich, long-lasting formulation with spruce resin.
If it were not for spruce resin, my life would have been completely different.
