Smrekovit Ekstra – a traditional cooling ointment

Smrekovit Ekstra is a fat-based ointment with conifer resin,
menthol and camphor. Menthol and camphor give it its characteristic
aroma and pronounced cooling sensation, while the fatty base creates the
traditional texture of an ointment.

Ekstra is the older cooling version of Smrekovit, developed before the
365 range. The same basic idea was later transferred to
Smrekovit 365 Ekstra,
which absorbs more quickly, is less greasy and is therefore generally more
convenient for frequent application.

Smrekovit Ekstra in a jar remains available mainly for users who are accustomed
to the traditional greasy ointment and prefer this type of formulation.

Use

Apply Smrekovit Ekstra to the desired area and spread it gently.
Repeat the application as needed.

Due to menthol and camphor, a pronounced
cooling sensation develops after application.
Its intensity may vary between users.

Use Smrekovit Ekstra on its own.
Do not use it together with the Smrekovit Kontakt compress.

If you prefer a less greasy formulation for easy repeated application,
Smrekovit 365 Ekstra
is generally the more convenient option.

Ingredients

Smrekovit Ekstra has a fat-based formulation. It contains
palm fat, conifer resin, sunflower oil, beeswax,
menthol, camphor and pumpkin seed oil.

Menthol and camphor are the characteristic ingredients of Ekstra and
create a pronounced cooling sensation after application. Palm fat,
vegetable oils and beeswax form the traditional fatty ointment base.

The product is certified as natural cosmetics with organic ingredients.

Warnings

The product is intended for external use.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or allergy to conifer resin,
menthol, camphor or any other ingredient of the product.

If irritation or another adverse reaction occurs, discontinue use.

Do not use Smrekovit Ekstra together with the Smrekovit Kontakt compress.
Prolonged contact with a product containing menthol and camphor under a compress
may increase the likelihood of irritation.
