Instead of surgery, he created a spruce resin ointment

In 1989 Ivo Konc due to long-standing back problems, he was looking for natural support to help him feel better. The resin poultices he had been using under the guidance of the folk healer Prežle were no longer suitable, so he made his first spruce ointment himself. Today we know it as Sprukovit Klasik.

At first, he shared the ointment with neighbours and acquaintances - their enthusiasm soon spread the story throughout the former Yugoslavia. No ads. Just word-of-mouth experience.

Use

Gently massage the ointment into the skin anywhere on the body. Because of its natural composition and the absence of irritating additives, users often apply it also:

Smrekovit compress

The Smrekovit compress is a simple textile aid made of cotton with a polyurethane coating, designed to prolong the effect of the spruce resin ointment or cream. It is vapor-permeable and allows the skin to breathe. By using the Smrekovit compress:

  • you prevent the ointment or cream from being wiped off,

  • you enhance the effect of spruce resin,

  • you allow it to work overnight or during rest.

The compress is especially recommended for:

  • more persistent problems,

  • sensitive areas where the spruce cream or ointment tends to disappear more quickly (e.g. wiped off onto clothing, etc.),

Smrekovit compress

Use

  1. Apply the cream (Smrekovit Klasik or Smrekovit 365) to one side of the compress in an appropriate amount.

  2. Place the coated side on the desired area – back, knee, shoulder, etc.

  3. Secure with medical adhesive tape, a bandage, or an elastic net (available in pharmacies).

  4. If necessary, apply an additional layer of cream over the existing one..

  5. Wash only when necessary – at 95 °C, without fabric softeners.

  6. It slightly shrinks during washing:

    • Approximately 8 % by length,

    • Approximately 3,4 % by width.

  7. Compress size: 17 × 24.5 cm
